The Final of the 30th National Religious Oratory Competition for Secondary Schools and Colleges was held this morning at the Sayyidina Abu Bakar Secondary School, RPN Lambak Kanan. The competition was organised by the Co-Curriculum Education Department. The boy's category was won by Awang Mohd Anaqi Danish bin Asahrin from the Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College with a speech entitled 'Bahaya Fitnah', while Dayang Nur Amirah binti Abdullah from Sayyidina Abu Bakar Secondary School won the girls category with a speech entitled 'Kelebihan Sembahyang Berjemaah'.

The competition, participated by 10 students was divided into two categories. It aimed to solidify a love for knowledge through religious text reading and writing towards producing quality religious lecture text. The competition also acts as a knowledge platform to strengthen interactions and relations among students and teachers as well as enhance Islamic eminence and propagation. Prizes were presented by Dayang Hajah Anis Faudzulani binti Haji Dzulkiflee, Acting Director General of education.
