13 students received the Brunei Shell Joint Venture Companies scholarship scheme, BSJV. 11 recipients are pursuing their studies at University Technology Brunei, while two others are going to Leeds University, United Kingdom and Nottingham University. While 16 others returning scholars had successfully completed their degree programme with first class honours.

Earlier, Dayang Hajah Zainab binti Haji Omar, Human Resource Director of Brunei Shell Petroleum, BSP in her speech said BSJV companies continue to strengthen the existing partnership and collaboration with Scholarship Unit, Ministry of Education. She added, the efforts are due to cooperation with schools, colleges and higher institutions to nurture early awareness among students on the future prospects of a promising career in BSJV.

The event saw contract signing ceremony for 13 recipient which was witnessed by Doctor Ceri Powell, Managing Director of BSP and Shell country chair for Brunei Darussalam. The event ran concurrently with the presentation of certificates to 16 graduates.
