The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism through the Tourism Development Department held an Award presentation ceremony for the winners of the Brunei Darussalam ASEAN Tourism Standards Award. The award presentation ceremony took place at the ministry.
The awards were presented by Dayang Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. Reflection Eco Holistics Brunei Sendirian Berhad received the 2nd ASEAN Spa Services Standard Award. Meanwhile the 2nd ASEAN Public Toilet Standard Award went to three recipients namely Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex, Kaizen Sushi Restaurant and Seria Energy Lab. The awards act as an appreciation and recognition at the ASEAN Level to stakeholders who have met the standards set by ASEAN member nations in the tourism sector.
