To instil noble values within students in together upholding the aspiration of the government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to produce a caring and responsible society, the establishment of the Educational Institution Volunteers Team or PSIP is fitting as a channel for the students to carry out charity and community activities. The launching of PSIP was held yesterday afternoon at the Co-Curriculum Education Department.

The P-SIP was launched by Dayang Hajah Anis Faudzulani binti Haji Dzulkiflee, Acting Director General of Education at the Ministry of Education. The PSIP play a role as a mechanism that can encourage the students to be active in beneficial activities.

To date, 13 volunteer associations have been established, two from UBD and UTB, while the rest are from government secondary schools and colleges. The associations involve It involves 51 university students, 155 secondary school and college students, and 30 teachers who are acting supervisors for PSIP activities. Among the activities that will be held in November include extra classes, food delivery to those in need, and house repair for the underprivileged.
