Yesterday morning media conference, Assistant Commissioner of Royal Brunei Police Force Dato Paduka Haji Awang Mohd Hassan, Acting Director of Criminal investigation Department also urged the public to take precautionary measures to prevent from becoming victims of car thefts.

Assistant Commissioner of Royal Brunei Police Force Dato Paduka Haji Awang Mohd Hassan, said the police advice the public NOT to keep car keys in easily seen areas in the house, ensure the vehicle is always locked as well as parked in a safe place. The police would also like to request the public's cooperation to come forward to provide information and assistance in order to reduce the crime rate in Brunei Darussalam.
