The second session for the Wildlife Roadshow Programme for government and secondary schools in Brunei Muara district took place today at Rimba Dua Secondary School in Kampung Rimba. The programme was organised by the Wildlife section, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism in collaboration with Brunei Methanol Brunei Methanol Sendirian Berhad.

More than 140 students and teachers representing 4 secondary school from cluster 4 attended the programme. Present was Awang Misle bin Haji Abd Karim, Brunei Darussalam District Officer. The roadshow aimed to instil and nurture public awareness and clearly reflects the commitment to ensure the management and protection of the country's natural treasure, especially its wildlife is given the proper attention.

The roadshow also coincided with the presentation of posters and brochures to secondary schools principal involved in the programme. Students and teachers also viewed mini exhibition by government agencies, non-governmental associations and tourism operators. The Brunei Muara district is the final destination for the wildlife roadshow programme for government and secondary schools nationwide.
