Brunei Darussalam sent a four-member delegation to the "Be Prepared Quest" at Christine Camp in Singapore. The 6-day challenge is hosted by the Singapore Girl Guides. It is open to girl guides members age between 14 and 17.
Brunei's delegation was led by Dayang Nasriah binti Awang Nasib, the Communication Commissioner of the Girl Guides Association. The three members comprised Dayang Nur Widadul Uzma binti Mohammed Alias, Dayang Nur Aqilla Nandasari binti Saidi and Dayangku Nur Aisyafiqah binti Pengiran Ismail. They were chosen based after undergoing selection process in July and had gone through a month-long intensive training. The challenge requires them to prove their skills in accordance to the chosen themes.
The "Be Prepared Quest" promotes their knowledge, skills and essential quality in supporting their respective Girl Guide association. The meeting is also a chance for them to interact and exchange views with their peers from all over the world. Present at the Brunei International Airport to bid them farewell was Dayang Hajah Siti Hafsah binti Hj Abdul Halim, the Association's Chief Commissioner; and her deputy, Dayang Vivianti binti Haji Ali.
