Muslims are encouraged to enliven the first 10 days of the month of Zulhijjah, the month of the Haj and Sacrifice by carrying out more religious acts and charity as well as celebrating Hari Raya Aidil Adha. During the period, it is recommended that Muslims recite the zikir and perform the Hari Raya Takbir more. In relation to this, the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB held an Ihya 'Eid Adha or Enlivening Aidil Adha celebration yesterday morning.

In attendance was Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, the Acting Minister of Religious Affairs. Also present was Pengiran Anak Haji Damit Badaruddin bin Pengiran Anak Haji Saifuddin, the Acting Registrar of KUPU SB. The objective of the ceremony was to endear oneself to Allah the Almighty by performing the Qurban or sacrifice and giving alms or charity to the poor. The event was co-organised by the Student Personality Development Unit, Students Affairs Division and the Students' Association of the university college.
