More than 200 youths attended yesterday afternoon's 2018 Youth Entrepreneurship Plenary Session. The session is hoped to become a platform for entrepreneurs and expert agencies to discuss youth entrepreneurship development.
The first session was organised by the Ministry of Energy (Energy and Manpower) and Industry. The session among other things discussed the entrepreneurship ecosystem for the youth entrepreneurs. During the session, several youth entrepreneurs from various background shared initiative from several agencies in 5 main fields including capacity building and joint support service, infrastructure and facilities, financing, market access as well as business opportunity.
Meanwhile the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports organised the second plenary session that shared the benefits and benefits of becoming a young entrepreneur. The session also shared on how to start-up a business as well as the challenges and ways to overcome the problem. It gave the new entrepreneurs an opportunity to exchange views with those who have succeed. Among those in-attendance was Yang Berhormat (Retired) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports; Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw, the Deputy Minister of Energy (Energy and Manpower) and Industry; Yang Berhormat Dayang Nik Hafimi binti Abdul Haadii and Yang Berhormat Awang Iswandy bin Ahmad, Members of the Legislative Council. The two-day plenary session is open to members of the public until tomorrow at Dewan Muzakarah, International Convention Centre in Berakas.
