The 'Back2Communities' Convention is hoped to raise awareness on the challenges faced by special needs people and on how to solve them.

The 4-day convention was officiated this morning by Scott Woodard, the Deputy Charge d' Affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America in Brunei Darussalam. Themed, 'Breaking Barriers to Special Needs Inclusion'', the convention organised by the Youth Setter Community was awarded a grant from 'Young Southeast Asia Leadership Initiative for the Future' sponsored by the United States embassy. The convention was among the 21 projects selected to be organised by Brunei Darussalam. It will include motivational talks by a number of invited speakers. The convention will be held at the SMARTER Centre and the Association of Disabled Children, KACA centre. The convention's goal is to provide experience and lessons on the supervision of people with special needs in the country.
