The Government of Brunei Darussalam provides a platform to enable youth to do even greater things as it is the county's responsibility to encourage and enable youth to do even more. The Youth are urged to consistently share what they have done and what they are doing in order to paint a picture of what is happening on the ground. The matter was raised by Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport at the Closing ceremony of The Youth-Led NGO Management (YouNM) workshop. Yesterday morning's ceremony took place at Youth Centre in Bandar Seri Begawan.
The 5-day workshop concluded today. It was organised by the alumni members of the Young South East Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) in collaboration with Brunei-US Association (BUSA). The program is in partnership with the Graduates Association of Universiti Brunei Darussalam, InTurn Co. and supported by Butra Heidelberg Brunei Cement Sdn. Bhd, RHB Bank, IT Protective Security Services Sdn Bhd and Takaful Brunei Sdn Bhd. It gathered up to 27 youths, ages between 16 and 25 years old for a capacity building workshop, which aimed to develop organization productivity while enabling its members to work effectively and efficiently towards achieving the organisation's goals.
