The Final of the National Cooking Contest for Pre-Vocational Programme students organised by the Special Education Unit, Ministry of Education was held this morning. The competition took place at the Sultan Saiful Rijal Campus, Institute of Brunei technical Education.

The first ever competition aimed to promote and test the students' skills as well as to expose their potential in the field of culinary. The finalists were the Sultan Hasan Secondary School, Masin Secondary School, Sayyidina Abu Bakar Secondary School, Sultan Sharif Ali Secondary School, Tanjong Maya Secondary School and Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Secondary School.

The finalists prepared 3 delicacies themed 'Minum Petang' or Hi-Tea. Their foods were judged by judges from Royal Brunei Catering, Rizqun International Hotel, IBTE and the Curriculum Department. The winner of the competition will be announced next week.
