Students who will sit for their 'O' Level examination have been given information and early exposure to opportunities for entering higher education institutions, technical and private institutions, as well as the career world. In regard to the matter, 116 Year 11 students of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Secondary School in Tutong took part in the Post 'O' Level Pathway Programme's 'Xplorasi' Day yesterday morning.
The programme was filled with briefing sessions and exhibition participated by higher education institutions, technical and private institutions as well as government departments. The programme among other things aimed to raise the student's motivation so that they can focus in getting good grades that can qualify them to enter the institution of their choice.
15 agencies took part in the career exhibition, including the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE); Politeknik Brunei; Dental Services, Ministry of Health; the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and Royal Brunei Police Force Recruiting Office; Youth Development Centre; and Livewire. The programme was organised by the Counselling and Career Unit, Department of Schools with the cooperation of the school's Counselling and Career department.
