His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah expresses hope that the private sector and graduates who have the potential to help in empowering the private sector will establish relations that can contribute to efforts towards realising the country's economic development. His Majesty believes the private sector is prepared to accept the services of locals, especially graduates who are seeking or waiting for employment. The Monarch also calls on the graduates to avoid being too selective because whatever the job is, it is still a source of income. His Majesty made the titah in conjunction with the Hari Aidil Fitri celebration organised by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah yesterday morning. In the titah, His Majesty also highlighted the theme of the celebration, "Memajukan Ekonomi Negara Dengan Memperkasa Sektor Swasta," or "Developing the National Economy By Empowering the Private Sector". Touching on how the private sector can be empowered, His Majesty stressed this can be achieved by increased productivity through hard work or human effort.
