The National Road Safety Council, MKKJR held a Road Safety Awareness Campaign for the upcoming Hari Raya. The campaign was held concurrently in seven selected locations nationwide.

Leading the campaign at the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Highway was Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof, Minister of Communications as well as Chairman of MKKJR. The campaign was also participated by Awang Haji Osman bin Haji Mohd Jair, Chairman of the Brunei Insuran Takaful Association (BITA) who is also the Ambassador of MKKJR as well as the Red Crescent Association and Empire Solutions. This year's campaign is to distribute recycle bags, hari raya packets, stickers and posters from the Red Crescent Association with the message road safety.

Meanwhile leading the campaign in Tungku Link Highway was Awang Haji Azhar bin Haji Ahmad, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Communications who is also the Second Deputy Chairman of MKKJR with representative from the Brunei Automobile Associations. The Awareness Campaign that held annually for this upcoming Hari Raya aimed to remind together and improve alertness as well as safety to the public specifically road users during this upcoming festive season.

In the afternoon, the 'Road Safety Awareness Campaign' continued at the Giant Supermarket in Rimba. The campaign was led by Yang Berhormat Awang Iswandy bin Ahmad, a Member of the Legislative Council who is also the Ambassador of National Road Safety Council MKKJR and participated by Senior Police Superintendent Awang Husaini bin Haji Matzin, Acting Director of the Department of Investigation and Traffic Control JSKLL with representative from the Empire Solutions, Red Crescent Associations and other members of MKKJR. During the campaign, recycle bags, hari raya packets, stickers, posters and souvenirs were given to the public.
