Radio Television Brunei (RTB) conducted an audience survey from 1st December 2017 to March this year. It was meant to identify the demography of the audience, their opinions on the quality of its broadcast and public knowledge on RTB's digital migration. The survey was also an effort towards enhancing the contents and styles of radio and television programmes and news bulletins.

Prizes to the 35 winners of the Audience Survey 2017 were handed over by Dayang Hajah Zalinar binti Haji Abdullah, RTB's Deputy Director (progress). The ceremony coincided with the presentation of Certificates of Appreciation to Assistant Researchers involved in the audience survey.

The Acting Head of Research and Development of Radio Television Brunei said the RTB sponsored audience survey received encouraging feedback from four thousand and four hundred seventy eight respondents. He added the survey recorded seventy one point seven percent of the country's people watch RTB channels, with News still dominant, having a 71 percent following.
