In conjunction with the launching of the Crime Prevention Pamphlet of the Royal Brunei Police Force 2018, the Brunei Muara District Police held the distribution and dissemination of the said pamphlet to the public yesterday afternoon. The launching is also one of the efforts to raise the public's awareness and knowledge pertaining crime prevention measures, and at the same time, reduce the crime rate in the country.

The pamphlets were distributed at 3 locations. The Kuala Lurah Customs Control Post was the first location, and the distribution was led by Superintendent of Police Pengiran Abdul Salam Bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Ghani, Acting Commanding Officer of the Brunei Muara District Police.

Meanwhile, Deputy Superintendent of Police Hamidon Bin Haji Ibrahim, the Acting Assistant Commanding Officer of the Brunei Muara District Police led the pamphlet distribution at the Mall in Gadong. Deputy Superintendent of Police Suzianti binti Haji Ahmad, Criminal Investigation and Traffic Officer of the Brunei Muara District Police led the pamphlet distribution in Times Square, Berakas.

500 crime prevention pamphlet were distributed to the public and driver. The pamphlet contain crime prevention measures for the home, property and safety. It also contain advices against false investment and false prank calls, and the pamphlet distribution will be extended to other districts.
