The Kembara Amal Ramadan program was also held in the Belait and Temburong Districts. The program aims to enhance understanding and cooperation among agencies involved in youth development activities.
In Belait District, the programme was held at Lorong Tiga Selatan Indigenous Landless Scheme in Seria. The function began with the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Yang Berhormat Awang Hanapi bin Mohd Siput, Member of the Legislative Council. 100 participants comprising students of government secondary, religious and Arabic Preparatory schools as well as teachers took part in the programme. It continued with the Khatam Al-Quran ceremony and presentation of an endowment to the mosque's Imam. Among those present was Datin Paduka Dr Hajah Norlila binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Meanwhile five under privileged families, recipients of monthly welfare aid, orphans, senior citizens and people with different abilities in Belait District received donations through the Kembara Amal Ramadan Programme. The donations were presented by Awang Haji Rosmadee bin Haji Mohd Daud, the Acting Director of Youth and Sports Development.
In Temburong District, a similar programme was held at Kampung Batu Apoi Mosque. The reading of Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Emran bin Haji Sabtu, Member of the Legislative Council. The function was further enlivened by a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony. Approximately 185 people comprising members of Welfare Bodies, Religious Teachers, Temburong Mosques Youth, Women's Associations, Pertiwi, the Red Crescent, Bikers Association, Scouts and students of Temburong Arabic School and Sultan Hassan Secondary School in Bangar participated in the programme which continued with the presentation of an endowment to the mosque.
