Muslims in the country will start the fasting month of Ramadhan tomorrow. Last night, all mosques and suraus as well as prayer halls nationwide will observe sunat terawih and tadarus Al-Quran ceremony throughout Ramadhan.
Yesterday afternoon, twelve cannon shots unleashed at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar 'Ali Saifuddien echoed in the capital. The welcoming cannon shots were fired by the Military Police of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF. Cannon fire will also signal the time to break the fast during Maghrib.
