The Annual Bilateral Cooperation Meeting formed between the Anti Corruption Bureau, ACB and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, SPRM, is a platform to strengthen and enhance the existing cooperation network between the two agencies in various aspects, especially in the prevention and eradication of corruption. The meeting took place yesterday morning at the ACB headquarters at Jalan Lapangan Terbang Lama, Berakas.

THE ACB delegation was led by Datin Dayang Hajah Elinda binti Haji C.A. Mohamed, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, in her capacity as the Director of ACB. Meanwhile, the SPRM delegation was led by Yang Berbahagia Dato Simi bin Abdul Ghani, Senior Director, Investigation Department, SPRM. The meeting among other things discussed the direction, mechanism and bilateral cooperation framework. It covered assistance in investigation, information sharing, training and best practices in corruption prevention and investigation. This cooperation help to achieve main mission to further strengthen the efforts in corruption prevention through the cooperation and continuous assistance between the two agencies.
