Every Bruneian intending pilgrims are urged to make early preparations such as attending the haj course prior to leaving for the Holy Land of Makkah. Such a course can provide useful information, knowledge and experience that can be utilised in order to obtain a blessed haj. Yesterday morning, the Haj Practical Course was held simultaneously at all districts.
In the Brunei Muara District, the course was held at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas. 747 intending pilgrims attended the course, which among other things demonstrated on how to perform Tawaf, saie and others. Apart from the practical course, the intending pilgrims also take part in the haj course conducted by the Haj Management Department on every Friday and Sunday starting the 6th of last month.
Meanwhile in the Belait District, 109 intending pilgrim attended such course at the Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Religious School, and the Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Religious School.
The Pengiran Anak Puteri Norain Religious School in Tutong District became the focal point for the course. At the course, intending pilgrims also have the opportunity to listen to useful advices when performing the Haj at the holy land, and learn the regulations as stipulated by the Saudi Arabian government.
In the Temburong District, 20 intending pilgrims took part in the course held at the Batu Apoi Sports Complex.
