The 3-day Southeast Asian Literature Council's Secretariat Meeting, MASTERA began today in Bandar Seri Begawan. The meeting which is a literature collaboration project among MASTERA member countries made up of Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand was launched in Malaysia in 1996.
Among other things, the conference is to revise proposals and matters raised of the general resolution of the 23rd MASTERA meeting as well as strengthening and discussing the MASTERA Programme for 2018-2019. The meeting was in preparation for the MASTERA conference which usually takes place in September. Apart from that, the meeting also evaluates, discusses and reports the current MASTERA activities in the five member countries. Brunei Darussalam is the host of the 24th MASTERA.
