Two Indonesian national and a Filipino national were sentenced to 4 months imprisonment after found guilty under the Immigration Act.
42-year-old, Sri Lestari Binti Saekan Muksin, from Indonesia was found guilty of overstaying in the country for 1,167 days. The offender was detained in a rented room in Jalan Pasir Berakas by the National Registration and Immigration Department during the 'Operasi Cantas', last Wednesday.
Another Indonesian national, 33-year-old, Masiah Mirata Nasir, was found guilty for overstaying in the country for 368 days. The offender was detained last Wednesday in a rented room in Kampung Bunut, Jalan Haji Halus.
While, Maribel Terez Del Campo, aged 42 from the Philippines was also found guilty for overstaying in the country for 416 days. The offender was detained in a rented room in Kampung Jangsak, last Tuesday.
