The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports said that effective communication is vital as such a communication between the children and parents or between the husband and wife has an important value in family life. Families should also carry out open and transparent discussions as it will provide opportunity for family members regardless of age, to give their ideas and views to produce a positive and joyful atmosphere in a family. Children should be brought closer into the family fold from a young age and share with them a harmonious household's atmosphere so that they will learn good values in living with a family, so that they will grow up to be loving individuals. The Bruneian mould that we inherit must be taught to our children such as prioritising courtesy, respect, soft-spookiness, and helping one another. These practices is in line with the country's Malay Islamic Monarchy philosophy.
