24 participants presented their readings yesterday in the Final of the National Al-Quran Memorising Competition and its Understanding.
The competition was divided into five categories, with each category comprising of 5 participants. Participants from categories B, C, D and E presented their readings yesterday morning, while participants in category A will present their readings morning of 3rd May, which will coincide with a presentation of souvenirs to participants and judges. The competition is one of the annual projects of the Ministry of Religious Affairs to glorify Major Islamic Events and also among the contents of the National Level Nuzul Al-Quran celebration. This year's competition is organised with the cooperation of the Royal Customs and Excise Department.
