The working committee of the Brunei ICT Award (BICTA) has continued the series of roadshows on the yearly competition. The roadshow aimed to disseminate information about the competition which this year is open to students of secondary school and higher education institutions as well as ICT industry players. BICTA which is supported by AITI and InfoCom Federation Brunei (IFB) aimed to stimulate innovation and creativity in ICT industry among individuals and organisations, especially students and small medium entrepreneurs, as well as to provide a benchmark for the development of local ICT products.

The roadshow targeted students from private education institutions such as Laksamana College of Business, IGS College, Micronet, Kemuda Institute and Cosmopolitan College of Commerce and Technology. The briefing was delivered by Awang Haji Hadi Iskandar bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad, a representative from the BICTA Secretariat and Pg Sarimah binti Pg Haji Abdul Latif, Head Judge of BICTA 2018. The roadshow will end this Thursday. For the Belait and Tutong districts, similar briefing will be held today at Politeknik Lumut.
