34 final year projects were displayed at the 'Creative Computing Final Year Projects 2018 Exhibition Day', yesterday at University Technology Brunei (UTB).
22 final year projects were developed by the second cohort of students from the Bachelor of Science in Creative Multimedia and Bachelor of Science in Digital Media under the School of Computing and Informatics, UTB. Both programmes were introduced in 2013 to fulfil the demands of creative industries for highly capable, multi-skilled graduates with the fundamental knowledge of digital media and creative multimedia technology. Meanwhile, another 12 final year students from Bachelor of Science in Internet Computing, Bachelor of Science in Computing, and Bachelor of Science in Computer Network and Security also showcased their projects. The final year projects were submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirement for the undergraduate degrees.
The projects were based on the different areas of Creative Computing that ranges from Research Studies. Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence to 3D Modelling and Animation. All of the projects were developed individually with supervision by an academic staff. The exhibition creates opportunities for students to present their product and relay their ideas through product demonstrations.
