The National Service Volunteers Brigade is the alumni of the Malaysian National Service training Program, which is hoped to build self-esteem as well as mental, physical and spiritual endurance of Malaysian youths. The program is similar to the National Service Program organised by Brunei Darussalam in 2011. This morning, the Brigade held a goodwill visit to the National Service Program, PKBN Training Camp in Kampung Batu Apoi, Temburong District.

The 27 member delegation led by Puan Masna binti Hamidun, Assistant registrar of the Insaniah Skills Development Centre was welcomed by Retired Colonel Pengiran Haji Zulkifli bin Pengiran Haji Ismail, Director of National Service, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. During the visit the delegation was briefed on the National Service Program by Pengiran Muhammad Nuur Hakiim bin Pengiran Anak Badi'Odzaman, Grade 2 Special Duties Officer for PKBN. The delegation also toured the PKBN training camp and facilities.
