Following a public tip-off regarding gambling activities using gaming machines, the Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Unit, Criminal Investigation Department of the Royal Brunei Police Force has arrested 3 Malaysians who are believed to be involved in carrying out the gambling activities in Kampong Kilanas.

In the arrest, 2 of the suspects are working pass holders, while the other is a holder of a visit pass. All suspects have been arrested and the case is investigated under Section 4 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, Chapter 28.

The RBPF has also found and seized 9 gaming machines and 6 laptops containing various gambling games programme such as slot and SCR888. The RBPF seeks cooperation from the public to provide any information regarding online gambling activities in efforts to suppress gambling.
