The 'Kem Ibadah' or Ibadah Camp Programme aims to bring the participants closer to the mosque, apart from strengthening their solidarity with the community as well as to fill the youths time during the school holidays. The programme organised by the Youth Unit of the Mosque Affairs Department Imarah Section was launched this morning at the Pengiran Muda Abdul Wakeel Mosque in Kampung Kiudang, Tutong. It was held in conjunction with Brunei December Festival 2017.
Present was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Umarali bin Esong, Member of the Legislative Council who is the advisor of the mosque's takmir committee. The programme was launched by Awang Haji Mohd Taib bin Haji Jaluddin, the Acting Penghulu of Mukim Kiudang. Over 70 youths from mosques in the Tutong District are taking part in the two-day Programme. It was conducted by Tutong's Mosque Affairs Office, with cooperation of the mosque takmir committee. The programme, which is the first of its kind, is organised by the Brunei Tourism Board with the cooperation of several stakeholders will be extended to the other three districts.
