The discussion towards developing Tasek Merimbun into a tourist attraction in the Tutong district was held this morning.
The discussion with Awang Wardi bin Haji Mohammad Ali, the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism together with relevant parties to develop Tasek Merimbun by further improving the current basic infrastructure. Also present was Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Omar Ali ibni His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bolkiah, the Curator of Natural History. Also discussed were a development proposal for the home-stay area and organising visits to areas surrounding Tasek Merimbun.
