The Tutong District recorded four thousand 8 hundred and 35 student admissions at government primary schools and four thousand one hundred and nineteen secondary school students, who began their 2017 school session today. The students are from 27 government primary schools and 5 secondary schools in the district. Meanwhile, 167 student admissions were recorded at the sixth form centre. As usual during the first school session, students come back to school full of determination to study hard and pursue new knowledge.
The care and attention afforded by parents and guardians towards their children's welfare, especially in terms of their schooling needs, also encourages them further to achieve success. Meanwhile, to provide early exposure to pre-school pupils, the headmistress of the Keriam Primary School said the school will be holding an orientation session for the pupils. She added that the 3-day orientation will include a familiarization session and teachers are currently making the necessary preparations to welcome the pupils this Saturday.
