Bandar seri begawan: The Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) has officially launched the 15th International Summer Medical School Programme. This student exchange initiative welcomed six students from the Faculty of Medicine at Kagawa University, Japan, providing them the chance to experience campus life at UBD. The programme aims to offer insights into the country’s culture and traditions while also focusing on the development of clinical and communication skills. The event was inaugurated by His Excellency Yutaka Kikuta, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Brunei.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the programme not only fosters international friendships but also enhances the medical education experience for participants. It serves as a platform for cultural exchange and professional growth, aligning with UBD’s mission to offer diverse learning opportunities. Participants are expected to gain valuable experiences that will contribute to their personal and professional development in the medical field.
