A total of 123 Upper Sixth Form students of Tutong Sixth form Centre yesterday, were celebrated in a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony at the sixth form centre. The function began with a reading of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Awang Hassan bin Amat, Chief Religious Officer of Tutong District. The function was followed by the reading of Khatam Al-Quran.

The Khatam Al-Quran ceremony is an annual activity of the Tutong Sixth Form Centre to celebrate the success of the students who will complete their two-year studies at the institution. The ceremony was hoped to enhance the skills and instil an interest in reading the Quran amongst the students.
