A total of 118 pupils from 10 religious schools in the Temburong District took part in the Khatam Al-Quran ceremony for year 6 Religious School pupils. The ceremony was held at the Belalong Hall, Civic Centre Complex in Bangar town.

The ceremony began with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Awangku Arif Anuar bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad, the Acting Assistant Temburong District Officer. The ceremony aimed to encourage the pupils to make reading Al-Quran as their daily practice. The ceremony is a yearly activity for the pupils who will complete their year 6 religious school studies. It ran concurrently with the presentation of certificates.
